How to install Flixnivo on any device

Pick your device below and follow the step-by-step guide. Every guide takes you from the very first tap to your first live channel, with fixes for the most common problems.

1. Get your login details Request your free trial through our trial form or by contacting our support team we will send you your login details.
2. Check your internet A stable connection is the biggest factor. As a guide, aim for about 20 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps for 4K. Wi-Fi is fine, a cable is better.
3. Keep your login details handy You will copy your username, password and server URL (or playlist link) from the login details we send you - type them exactly, with no extra spaces.

Install on Amazon Firestick & Fire TV

Works on Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K / 4K Max, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV smart TVs that run Fire OS. Installation takes about 5 minutes using the free Downloader app.

Check your model first. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select (2025) and the newest Fire TV Stick HD (2026) run Amazon's Vega OS instead of Fire OS. Those models do not support Downloader or Android APK installs, so this guide will not work on them. Check under Settings → My Fire TV → About. If you own one of these, use another device from this page (or message our support team with your model name and we will suggest the best option).

What you need

  • A Fire TV device running Fire OS, connected to the internet
  • Your Fire TV remote (or the Fire TV app on your phone, which gives you a keyboard)
  • Your login details from our team

Step-by-step installation

  8. Start watchingWait while channels, movies and series load for the first time (this can take a minute), then open Live TV and select a channel.
Tip: Once the app is installed you can go back to Developer Options and switch Downloader's unknown-apps permission OFF again. The app keeps working, and your device stays more secure.

Troubleshooting

  • Downloader is not listed under "Install unknown apps": a Fire OS 7/8 bug caused this in late 2026, and Amazon has started rolling out a fix. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About → Check for Updates and install any update. Turning ADB debugging OFF and back ON, then restarting the stick, also helps some people.
  • The code does not load: re-type it carefully (6 digits, no spaces) and check your Wi-Fi. The Fire TV phone app makes typing much easier.
  • "App not installed" or "Parse error": free some storage (Settings → My Fire TV → About → Storage), uninstall any older copy of the player, then repeat steps 5–6.
  • Buffering: restart the stick, move it closer to the router, or use an ethernet adapter.
