Install on Amazon Firestick & Fire TV
Works on Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick 4K / 4K Max, Fire TV Cube and Fire TV smart TVs that run Fire OS. Installation takes about 5 minutes using the free Downloader app.
What you need
- A Fire TV device running Fire OS, connected to the internet
- Your Fire TV remote (or the Fire TV app on your phone, which gives you a keyboard)
- Your login details from our team
Step-by-step installation
- Install the Downloader appFrom the Fire TV home screen choose Find (magnifier icon) → Search, type Downloader, and select the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews. Press Get / Download and wait for it to finish installing.
- Open Developer OptionsGo to Settings (gear icon) → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If you do not see Developer Options, go to My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name and press the centre Select button 7 times quickly. A message says you are now a developer. Press Back and Developer Options will appear.
- Allow Downloader to install appsInside Developer Options choose Install unknown apps and switch Downloader to ON. On older Fire OS versions this appears as Apps from Unknown Sources - switch it ON.
- Open DownloaderLaunch Downloader from your Apps list. When asked to allow access to photos, media and files, choose Allow. If a Quick Start / what's-new window appears, press OK.
- Enter the codeOn the Downloader Home tab, select the URL box and type this code exactly, then press Go:
481220 - Download and installWait for the download to reach 100%. When the install screen appears, press Install, then Done (or Open). Downloader will offer to delete the installer file - choose Delete twice to free up space.
- Log in to the playerOpen the newly installed IPTV player. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API (or Add M3U URL if your login details include a playlist link). Enter any name, then the Username, Password and Server URL from your login details, and press Add User.
- Start watchingWait while channels, movies and series load for the first time (this can take a minute), then open Live TV and select a channel.
Troubleshooting
- Downloader is not listed under "Install unknown apps": a Fire OS 7/8 bug caused this in late 2026, and Amazon has started rolling out a fix. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About → Check for Updates and install any update. Turning ADB debugging OFF and back ON, then restarting the stick, also helps some people.
- The code does not load: re-type it carefully (6 digits, no spaces) and check your Wi-Fi. The Fire TV phone app makes typing much easier.
- "App not installed" or "Parse error": free some storage (Settings → My Fire TV → About → Storage), uninstall any older copy of the player, then repeat steps 5–6.
- Buffering: restart the stick, move it closer to the router, or use an ethernet adapter.

Troubleshooting
- Blank screen or "portal not available": check the URL for typos or extra spaces and confirm your MAC address was sent to us correctly.
- No network: test the cable, restart your router, then re-enter the network settings.
- Old software: update the box under SET → Software update if the option is available.
Install on Smart TV (Samsung & LG)
Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs install apps from their own app stores — they can not run Android APK files. Which IPTV players are available depends on your TV's model year and country, so you may need to try a different player name.

- Search for a playerTry IPTV Smarters Pro, Smart IPTV, IBO Player or SS IPTV, and install whichever appears for your TV.

- WatchOpen Live TV and pick a channel.
Troubleshooting
- Player not in the store: update your TV software (Settings → Support → Software Update), then search again. Otherwise use a Firestick or Android TV box.
- App opens but no channels: make sure the playlist was saved on the activation website, then close and reopen the app.
- Buffering on Wi-Fi: TV Wi-Fi chips are often weak. Use the TV's ethernet port if possible.
